IM
Practice Manager Version 1.8.0 Release Notes
The
following upgrades and improvements were released:
- There
is now a Charge Lag Report available through the Business Intelligence
tab. This report will show the difference between the Date of Service and the Date of Charge Entry by physicians.
- A
new "Non-Discharging Physicians" workflow allows users to more easily
remove patients from the current patient list to the holding bin
independent of the discharge status. This functionality was created for
physician specialties that are typically not the discharging physician.
With this feature activated, the user can click on "Remove to Bin" and
a selection list will populate based on the site and team filter
currently activated on the current patient list. Administrators can
turn this feature on and off for individual users by going to the
System Tools tab, opening the Edit Users tool, and checking the
"Non DC Bin" box to the right.
- End-user
password reset functionality is now available, allowing users to reset
their password automatically when necessary.
- If
a user is unable to remember their password, they can click the "Forgot
your Password?" link to the right of the login button. A
temporary password will be sent to the email address on record, and
that password will allow the user to log into Ingenious Med one time.
They will be asked to set a new password upon their login with
the temporary password.
- Users will be asked to enter their email address on their initial login to Ingenious Med.
- Users must enter a valid
email address in order to use the automated password retrieval (email
addresses are confidential and will not be shared for any reason).
- Users can edit their email address on record by going to the "Settings" tab and selecting the "Change Email" option.
- This release includes BlackBerry functionality for Ingenious Med.
Changes to resolve the following issues were also
included:
- The Data Export tool was previously available only for groups on the SQL 2000 server.
- The
user permissions grid (found by clicking the "question mark" icon on
the Edit Users window) was not showing the most recent user types and
permissions.
- Checking
the "accept DX without ICD" box in the Administrator Settings tab
did not guarantee the entry of an ICD code along with diagnosis text in
all situations.
