Version 1.5.1 Released
The following upgrades and improvements were
released:
- The ability to suspend automatic purging of chat history has been added.
- Logging of PHI viewing events has been added for all instances of
patient viewing on the BILLS Tab as well as in the Export Bills Report.
- A "don't ask again" ("Unknown" is my final answer) checkbox was added
to the IM Quality Measures questionnaire window to prevent continued
asking of questions the physician concedes they will never be able to
answer.
- CPT II bills have been grouped together visually on both the Export
Bills Report and the My Bills Report (they will continue to appear
separately and in their entirety during printing).
- A flag has been added so any billing on the PDA that triggers a quality
measure will generate a chat alert to the physician entering the bill.
- CPT II bills will now be stripped from the list of bills sent to the PDA during sync.
- The status of CPT II bills will now change in tandem with the status of
the measure triggering bill, so separate status changes will no longer
be necessary.
- An indicator has been added to the Export Bills Report to identify CPT II bills with incomplete measure questionnaires.
- An message has been added to explain when measure questionnaires cannot
be edited because the bill triggering the measure has been sent (in
which case the CPT II for that measure has been sent as well).
- A pop-up blocker detector has been added to the login page, and will
provide instructions for disabling pop-up blockers when detected.
- The Summary Report has been updated to display the value for "AVG Admits per Day" to one decimal place.
- A pop-up message has been added to warn that deleting Site or Team
choices can cause data for their patients to be removed from report
totals.
- The ability to customize the disclaimer appearing for users upon first login has been added.
- All user passwords will now be stored in an encrypted format.
- The "PDA Settings" sub-tab was removed from "Settings" tab.
Changes to resolve the
following issues were also included:
- Entries could not be deleted from the IM Library section of the Home tab.
- Changes to the CPT Favorites list could not be saved in the editor.
- The original chat text was not being quoted when the "Reply" feature was used.
- An error during the Remove to Archive process was creating duplicate patients in some circumstances.
- The
font size on the XCover sheet was no longer resizing dynamically to
show the entire value when long values were entered (e.g. patient ID).
- Chat
messages in the IM Messages list were no longer appearing in the chat
archive when they were removed from the display (and the "Archive Chat
Messages?" setting was "on").
- Group name was clearing from the login page each time the user logged out or the application timed out.
- Patients with a null value in the "Type" field after an interface could not be billed.
- Care providers could not directly edit the value in the "Bed" field for patients.
- Export Bills would not allow printing of bills for sites other than the Biller's default site under some conditions.
- The up/down arrow keys had temporarily stopped functioning as navigation keys for the patient list.
- When
a new patient was created that did not fall in the visible area of the
patient list (alphabetically), the system was not automatically
scrolling the patient list to show the new patient.
- Changing the Site of a patient did not refresh the Team choice list when the new Site had no Teams.
- Patient information display was not refreshing after removal of a patient to the Chart Rack.
- PHI Viewing log indicated additional patients were viewed when only one patient existed in the Summary Report.
- Login attempts failed on rare occasions with a "final catch handler" error message.
- The "Admission Type has been changed" notification was sometimes appearing on the first bill for the patient.
- The D/C status flag was automatically being reset to "yes" repeatedly whenever a previous discharge bill existed.
- Renaming Sites and Teams would not automatically update the appropriate values for archived patients.
- Clicking
another patient in the selection list while the previous bill was still
in the process of being saved could set the "billed today" ($) icon in
the patient list (and the D/C flag, if the bill being saved was a D/C
bill) for wrong patient.
- The billed today ($) icon in the patient selection list was not resetting accurately according to the time zone setting.
- Information displayed for the current patient was not clearing automatically when a Site with no patients was selected.
- Same
day H&P+D/C codes were being counted twice on Summary Report totals
(a footnote has been added to the report to indicate each of those type bills will count once
in the H&P column and once in the D/C column, but also only once in the total
column).
- Editing a bill with certain time zone settings could result in an in appropriate "Please Enter valid Date" alert.
- Selecting an existing patient immediately after creating a new patient could leave the highlighting on the new patient.
- Creating
an additional bill for a patient just after creating a previous bill
resulted in the highlighting moving to the first patient in the patient
list.
